Learning Area Outcomes Framework Introduction to the Learning Area Outcomes
A definition and description of the purpose of learning within the learning area:The Learning Outcomes Framework for the Humanities aims to enable all learners to explore and reflect upon human experience in the past and present. Learners develop an understanding of the diversity, richness and complexity of human experience in time and space and in a range of local and global contexts and frames of reference. Learners explore historical, geographical, social, political, environmental and economic dimensions of human experience and the interrelationships between them.
